The Penguin was created by Hans Bunde in 1954 and intended for each of his sisters. It is now available in two sizes, a large and a small format, for everyone and everywhere in the world. The Penguin is hand painted on beech wood: the black paint represents the graceful plumage of the bird, while the raw part of the torso reveals the natural beauty of the wood.
