Org lamp Sebastian Summa
Org lamp Sebastian Summa

The Org collection was created in 2019 by the German designer Sebastian Summa, for DCW Éditions. Its shooting form is filled with astronomy and science fiction inspiration. Several opal glass tubes, capsulated in anodized aluminum at their ends, are assembled to give an asymmetrical cluster of light. The result is surprising: a lamp both classic and modern, which will find its place both in a raw and industrial environment, as in a sophisticated one.
Org comes in 3 pendants and 2 wall lamps. Their varied sizes allow them to adapt to various interiors with ease. The wall light can be installed freely, either horizontally or vertically. The light emitted by these lamps is soft, warm and glare-free, thanks to the integrated LED circuit inside the opal glass reflector.

Sebastian Summa

Sebastian, born in Bavaria, studied design at University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam. He lives in Berlin.

It’s difficult to meet Sebastian in the design world. He works in his studio East-Berlin and is really a doer. Before the university he started as a blacksmith, in a world of scrap iron, metal and steel. His workshop is outside time, the work is the clock.

It’s interesting to see in a rough surroundings, a sweet man, working on delicate objects.

Influenced by science fiction and astronomy, he built the lamp like a shooting star. Its name is ORG. Elegant, surprisingly classic which goes from rough to sophisticated environment.
