Alexander Girard's round tablecloths are made of linen with screen-printed patterns: Geometric – available in black and mustard – and Lace – available in grey blue and grey pink. They will bring a graphic yet light and refreshing touch to your dining table.
Alexander Girard created these tablecloths for the Textiles & Objects shop in New York in 1961. Famous textile designer, he was one of the leading figures in American design during the post-war era along with his colleagues Charles and Ray Eames and George Nelson. Girard brought a sensuous playfulness to twentieth-century design that had been absent from the austere aesthetic of classic modernism.
