The Dancing suspension was designed by Iskos-Berlin. For them, the design of an object must tell a story: here, the lamp takes on the appearance of the pleated skirt of a dancer spinning in the air. The Dancing suspension is playful and is part of sustainability: its felt is made from 100% recycled materials, mainly plastic bottles.

The company works in the fields of industry, furniture and graphic design. The company was created only at the end of 2010, but Boris and Aleksej have been working together for several years. In 1987 Boris co-founded Komplot Design, where Aleksej was an assistant for more than 11 years. This long and fruitful cooperation allowed them to develop a common design philosophy. Their goal is to take the best elements of the Komplot philosophy and make them crisper, clearer and more precise.
At ISKOS-BERLIN, they seek to experiment with new technologies and new materials, to explore their impact on everyday objects. These objects have their own stories, and are also part of larger narratives based on our actions and how we see things. By allowing the materials to choose their own direction, to speak for themselves, they try to bring a new twist to this ongoing (and endless) story
