The Carl Hansen BT1041 Calot suspension lamp is the work of Danish architects Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Designed in the late 1960s, it is part of a series of 3 geometric lamps completed in 1970.

All three lamps in the series feature a half-mirror bulb visible beneath the shades, designed to create a play of light and shadow.

The BT1041 Calot Pendant lamp is available in polished brass and a new dark green color, in addition to the original white and black lacquered steel options.
