The Embrace E020 dining table completes the eponymous collection which includes a lounge chair, an armchair, chairs and coffee tables. Created by the EOOS design studio, it shows a style that is both modern and elegant, in keeping with the tradition of the Scandinavian tradition.
The base's originality comes from its 2 pieces of wood arranged in the shape of a cross, on the ground, and from its vertical steel rods. This positioning allows to leave a comfortable place to the legs of the people sitting, and gives the table a light and airy look. This base is reminiscent of the PP75 table designed by Hans Wegner in 1982, also made of wood and steel rods.
The round table top is made of laminated plywood, whose edge matches the finish of the table legs. It is available in 3 sizes to fit any type of interior.

EOOS designer
The Austrian collaborative, EOOS, views design as a poetic discipline, believing that end results should be able to accommodate changing needs and desires.
EOOS, a design collaborative established in Vienna in 1995 by Martin Bergmann (b. 1963), Gernot Bohmann (b. 1968), and Harald GrĂźndl (b. 1967), was founded after the trio graduated from the Venetian University of Applied Arts.
Today, the internationally renowned collaborative approaches complex furniture, product and shop design challenges by examining past roots in a contemporary context. Called Poetical AnalysisÂŽ, EOOSâs unique process focuses on myths, rituals and intuitive expressions, creating connections that extend beyond initial perceptions.
EOOSâs writing on style and design includes âThe Death of Fashionâ and âThe Cooked Kitchen: A Poetical Analysisâ. In 2015, the Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary
Art celebrated EOOSâs work with the trioâs first major solo exhibition.
EOOS designs for many of the worldâs best-known brands. The trio has published books on design, holds over 15 technical patents, and has won over 130 international awards, including a red dot award, a Compasso dâOro, the German Design Award, an iF Award, and a Wallpaper* Design Award.
Carl Hansen & Sønâs collaboration with EOOS evolved from a mutual respect for craftsmanship, quality and design. Their progressive design approach enabled Carl Hansen & Søn to further develop and explore its own design DNA and introduce a new aesthetic to its range.
