Niwaki Table lamp Studio Brichetziegler
Niwaki Table lamp Studio Brichetziegler

The BrichetZiegler studio carved this luminaire with mastery and precision, inspired by Japanese pines in the open ground, their silhouettes worked by the wind. The Niwaki lamp shade seems to float and glide in the air. The finish of this orga(me)nic lamp strikes the right balance between pride and humility.

"Objects must respond to a use, but they must also propose something else, of the order of the impalpable and the evocative". Niwaki is a generous, poetic and surprising object, made to last.

At DCW Éditions, this lamp is called "La Lampe Brigitte" because it lights up the office at the Élysée Palace.

Studio Brichetziegler

Created in 2010 by Caroline Ziegler and Pierre Brichet, Studio BrichetZiegler offers a transversal and open vision of design through a technical and poetic approach. Armed with an in-depth knowledge of know-how, they take a new look at materials and shapes.

Working at all levels, from craftsmanship to industry, their projects emerge as they meet.

Each new project is an opportunity to question yourself.

We often use materials or processes as a starting point, it determines how we enter the project. Working with materials and their properties, respecting their limits, exploring the range of possibilities or diverting know-how are key dimensions of our approach.

We aspire to manufacture daring products that stand out for their shapes and technical qualities.

Objects that fit into any environment and that last, out of trends.

Teamwork is essential to us because it forges and refines the objects in their smallest details, over the iterations of their development and the experiences of each one.
