The Birksø mirror is fastened to the wall by a cigar-shaped wooden wedge, around which runs a chevron-shaped braided strap - two traditional elements of Danish cabinetmaking.Â

Rebecca Uth
A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Rebecca Uth has had a distinguished career in the field of applied arts and interior products. She has worked with glass, ceramics and wood, with a particular interest in how craftsmanship and design manifest themselves in everyday objects, focusing on the quality, durability and resistance of materials.  She has previously held senior positions at some of the leading Nordic design brands, but since 2019 has had her own studio in Skanderborg, close to nature. Rebecca Uth was born in the Faroe Islands.
