Bilboquet is a table lamp with a shade that can be adjusted by means of a steel sphere. The lamp head and body are made from durable polycarbonate, which is a by-product of paper production and not petroleum-based. Bilboquet has been designed to adapt to the most diverse requirements: in addition to the adjustable cylinder, the cable can be left free or concealed in a special housing under the base.Â
The two-meter-long cable makes it easy to move the lamp around the house. The Bilboquet is designed to last over time. Its main components can be completely dismantled and easily repaired, replaced or disposed of as spare parts. Philippe Malouin describes Bilboquet as a lamp for millennials and Generation Z: a flexible lighting solution that adapts to the multi-layered approach to the home that defines today's and tomorrow's generations.

With his own agency in London, design plays an important role. Philippe Malouin, who has always made objects (toys, cars, etc.) from an early age, never thought he would become a designer. It was only after two years travelling abroad that the idea began to take root. Encounters, some of them with designers who were so fulfilled and passionate about their work, encouraged him to find his own passion.Â
Inspired by the Castiglioni brothers, Jasper Morrison, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and Konstantin Grcic, Philippe Malouin wants to design products that last, stand the test of time and won't end up in the garbage can a few years down the line.Â
