The Apollo portable lamp can be transported from indoors to outdoors to create intimate spaces. Handcrafted from a single piece of opal glass, it houses a rechargeable battery and a replaceable G4 LED concealed in the shade, guaranteeing a life of at least 25,000 hours. The three-level touch dimmer is nestled at the base of the lamp. Minimum 10 hours of use before the battery needs recharging via USB.

Nikolaj Lorentz Mentze is a Danish designer and the owner of Copenhagen-based architecture and design firm STUDIO 0405. He graduated from Kolding Design School in Denmark, specializing in product design, before founding STUDIO 0405 in 2015.Â
STUDIO 0405 is a design studio working at the intersection between space and object. It explores the cultivation of the historical, technical and aesthetic properties of design and how they can be qualified and developed in an object. The studio plays with our environment, enhancing daily life and the dialogue between object and human being in a given context through inherent materiality and craftsmanship.
The studio collaborates with other designers such as artists, photographers and craftsmen on design projects with a wide range of clients.Â
