Jonas Trampdach’s Cornet barstool is a classic barstool using an innovative steel tube technique inspired by bicycle racks. The round solid oak seat rests on a slender steel base, creating an interesting balance of proportions and profiles.

The stools come in two different heights, with choice of wood finishes for the seat and chrome or powder coated colour options for the legs. The stools are suitable for bars, islands and worktops in a number of private and public settings

Jonas Trampedach

Designer Jonas Trampedach was born in Denmark in 1974. He studied design at the Danish School of Design in 2004, followed by a Masters in Product Design at the Royal College of Art in London in 2009. After returning to Copenhagen in 2010, Jonas established his own studio, where he produces furniture and products in his own designs as well as collaborations with other design companies.
For HAY, Jonas developed the Cornet bar stool.
