Created by Norwegian designer Martin Solem for HAY, Kofi is a range of stylish and versatile glass coffee tables. Based on the desire to create a clean and functional table while being environmental-friendly, the Kofi series is developed using smart and efficient production methods with a kit design.
The clean simplicity of dimensions and proportions is underlined by the attention to detail, resulting in a simple aesthetic with distinct lines and a timeless quality. Featuring a solid oak or walnut frame made of FSC-certified wood with a water-based lacquer, the top is in plain or reeded glass.
The table is available in different sizes with different color and glass frame options in transparent or colored variants. The many design combinations make Kofi versatile and adaptable to a wide variety of private or professional environments, from living rooms and halls to receptions and meeting rooms.

Martin Solem
Martin Solem (born in 1985) is a Norwegian designer based in Copenhagen. He moved to Denmark to explore Danish design, and after working for Rud. Rasmussen, he studied design at the Royal Danish Design School, where he graduated in 2014.
Since then, he has participated in projects with Capellini and Bernhardt Design, as well as exhibitions in Paris, London and Oslo. He is currently pursuing solo design projects while working full time at HAY as Product Development Manager - Furniture. Martin always strives for an innovative approach to his work and believes that good design should be both realistic and useful. For HAY Martin Solem designed Kofi.
