Over the years, Hay has experienced remarkable growth, expanding its product range and international reach. The brand has forged fruitful collaborations with renowned designers, reinforcing its creative reputation. In 2018, a major milestone was reached when American giant Herman Miller acquired a majority stake in the company, opening up new prospects for global development.

Despite this expansion, Hay has remained true to its initial philosophy: to offer quality design that is functional and accessible to as many people as possible. The brand has evolved with the times, integrating environmental concerns and adapting to new trends in design and interior decoration.

Today, Hay offers a complete range of products, including sofas, chairs, dining tables and coffee tables, lounge chairs, garden furniture, bar stools, shelving systems, lighting, rugs, decorative objects and more.

Through these different categories, Hay continues to assert its vision of design: products that are beautiful, functional and accessible, and that blend harmoniously into contemporary interiors.

The Hay philosophy

Hay stands out for its commitment to reinventing Scandinavian design for the 21st century. The brand draws its inspiration from the golden age of Danish design in the 50s and 60s, while infusing it with a new, contemporary energy. The result: creations that are functional, aesthetically pleasing and affordable.

Hay furniture

Hay furniture is characterized by clean lines, vibrant colors and intelligent functionality. Iconic pieces such as the About A Chair or the Mags sofa perfectly illustrate this approach, combining comfort with modern aesthetics.

Hay luminaires bring a touch of sophistication and warmth to any interior. With innovative designs such as the PC Portable lamp and the Noc suspension lamp, Hay proves that lighting can be both practical and visually inspiring.

Hay Decoration

Hay also excels in decorative accessories. From cushions and rugs to tableware and deskware, each piece reflects the brand's signature attention to detail and quality.

Designers Hay

Hay collaborates with a host of talented designers, both emerging and established. Names like Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Inga Sempé and Shane Schneck contribute to the diversity and richness of Hay's offering.

Hay's commitment to sustainability

Aware of environmental issues, Hay strives to integrate sustainable practices into its production. The use of recycled materials, the search for greener manufacturing processes and the creation of sustainable products are at the heart of the brand's approach.

Hay in the world

With a growing international presence, Hay has won over a global audience. Its products are available in many countries, and the brand has flagship stores in several major cities, from Copenhagen and Shanghai to Oslo and Berlin.

Continuous innovation at Hay

Hay never ceases to innovate, whether in the design of its products or in its collaborations. In particular, the brand has developed fruitful partnerships with giants such as IKEA, demonstrating its ability to reach an ever-wider audience without compromising its vision of design.
