The Palissade outdoor furniture collection was designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Hay. The ensemble is robust without heaviness, graphic without affectation.Â
It has been designed to occupy a wide range of environments - public spaces, private gardens, apartment terraces, parks and restaurants. Ergonomically sophisticated, the Palissade collection offers excellent comfort even without cushions.Â
The Palissade Lounge collection includes 1 chaise longue, two armchairs, a sofa and an ottoman/coffee table, all available in a range of colors and with a choice of cushions and seat covers.
A Palisade Cord version completed the range in 2025.

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec
‍rothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec grew up in Quimper, France. They went on to study at the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the École des Beaux-Arts in Cergy-Pontoise, respectively. In 1999, they became partners in their own Paris-based design studio. Their work ranges from small utilitarian objects to architectural projects. In addition to designing home and office furniture, vases, porcelain tableware, jewelry and various home accessories, their work focuses on the design and organization of interior spaces.
‍Over the course of their careers, Studio Bouroullec has collaborated with renowned brands such as Vitra, Magis, Alessi, Samsung and HAY. Their work has been exhibited worldwide, including at the Design Museum (London), the Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago and Los Angeles) and Arts DĂ©coratifs (Paris).Â
