The Taika Sato collection combines the art of Klaus Haapaniemi with the functional design of Heikki Orvola. Drawing his inspiration from still lifes, Haapaniemi depicts fruits and vegetables in his own personal style.Â
Thanks to its versatile size, the cappuccino cup is also ideal for enjoying coffee, tea and other hot drinks. You can create particularly charming decorations by combining the Taika cappuccino cup with Iittala's single-color pieces.Â

Klaus Haapaniemi
Klaus Haapaniemi (b. 1970) is a Finnish designer based in London. In 2010, he and Mia Wallenius founded the artisanal design and lifestyle brand Klaus Haapaniemi. Their approach to design is influenced by nature, Finnish folklore and traditional decorative arts with a modern twist. Inspiration comes from a rich selection of cultural references, including the worlds of art, ballet, music and storytelling. Klaus Haapaniemi's design experience includes many major brands, including Levi's, Diesel and Dolce & Gabbana. He has been recognized as one of design's most important rising stars by the WGSN trend forecast. In 2015, Klaus Haapaniemi designed the Cunning Little Vixen piece for the Finnish National Opera, which inspired the Tanssi collection for Iittala. His sense of whimsy and magic is exemplified by Iittala's classic Taika series.
