Karakter is a Danish design company, fully rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition, but with a strong international outlook.
Karakter offers a portfolio of furniture, lighting and objects signed by great historical figures such as the Danish Bodil Kjær, the Italians Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Joe Colombo and Angelo Mangiarotti, the dutchman Gijs Baker or the American Paul McCobb .
To these prestigious reissues, made with strict respect for the rights holders and without any compromise on quality, are added contemporary creations signed by today's great names, such as the Cypriot Michael Anastassiades and the designer duo PlueerSmitt.
Born in Denmark, Karakter took on an international dimension thanks to its acquisition by the prestigious Italian publisher Cassina.
