Haku is a coated textile designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara with a timeless expression. It is highly durable, wipeable and waterproof, making it ideal for high-traffic areas such as hospitality and healthcare. Haku is available in 28 shades, ranging from airy neutrals to bold notes. The fabric incorporates a silicone-coated polyurethane surface on a thin fabric layer. Unlike conventional coated solutions, this construction ensures an intricate grain and a soft, luxurious hand. In addition, Haku has a durable profile. It is REACH and Cal prop 65 compliant and is manufactured without DMF or harmful siloxanes. It is also PFC and PVC free.

Teruhiro Yanagihara
Born in Japan, Teruhiro Yanagihara crosses borders and cultures to create encounters between contemporary design and Japanese craft. In 2002, after completing his studies in furniture design at Osaka University of the Arts, Japan, he established his eponymous studio, Teruhiro Yanagihara Studio, which now operates in Japan, Denmark, the Netherlands and France.
Teruhiro Yanagihara's work spans several fields, including product design, textile design, interior design, creative direction for brands and art direction. His work is in the permanent collection of the Centre national des arts plastiques in Paris and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. In addition, he was a member of the jury for the Good Design Award Japan 2020 and the Kokuyo Design Award in 2021.
