The idea for the Lokki (seagull) pattern came to Maija Isola when she was looking at a window with a curtain drawn across it.
The sun was shining, and the wide folds of the curtain formed wavy shadows on the fabric.
Maija had a sudden inspiration: if a fabric is printed with waves, even a small piece of such fabric appears abundant, richly folded.

The Nila button-up shirt is made of organic cotton poplin, and it has an oversized, straight fit. The shirt is printed in the Lokki pattern, and it has a pointed collar, a button list, and cuffed sleeves with button closures.
The curved hem has side slits.

The Koolaus knitted wool pullover is made of certified merino wool, and it has a slim, straight fit. The pullover features the jacquard knit Lokki pattern in white and light grey. The pullover has a ribbed O-neck and wide ribbing at the sleeve ends and hemline.
