Unikko, symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. 

Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.

Viscose jersey

 The Cour jersey tunic is made of Ecovero™ viscose and it has a relaxed, straight fit and the Unikko pattern. Ecovero™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG. It contains 8% elastane. The tunic has an open neckline, loose elbow-length sleeves, and side slits at the hemline.

The Cavea jersey dress is made of Ecovero™ viscose and it has a slim, A-line fit. Ecovero™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG. It contains 8% elastane. The long-sleeved dress features the Unikko pattern and a turtleneck.

cupro

 The Sivuta button-up cupro shirt has a relaxed, straight fit and it features the Mini Unikko pattern. The shirt has a concealed button closure, and a back yoke seam with pleats. The cuffed sleeves have button closures and the hem has a slight curved cut.

 The Oanet cupro trousers have a relaxed fit and long, wide trouser legs, and they feature the Mini Unikko pattern. The trousers have an elastic waistband and side seam pockets.

 The Tiheys cupro dress has a slim, A-line fit and it features the Mini Unikko pattern. The dress has a boatneck, side seam pockets, cropped sleeves, and a separate D-ring belt.

 The Myy plissée skirt has a relaxed, A-line fit and it is made of dense recycled polyester in the Unikko pattern.
The skirt has a wide hem and an elastic waistband.
