Spring-Summer 2005
Collaborating with artists is woven into the fabric of Marimekko’s identity. A seamless continuation of this tradition is the Marimekko Artist Series, where artists are invited to create unique collections in collaboration with Marimekko.
The Spring-summer 2025 Fashion collection reveals several stunning, floral patterns created by London-based artist Petra Börner.
A flourishing vision
Petra’s expressive, dynamic floral motifs bring a fresh lens to Marimekko’s 2025 theme. The collections explore the anatomy of flowers, following their journey from spring’s first buds to autumn’s fading blooms. Petra’s signature style — joyful, free-flowing growth and her distinctive use of color — provided the perfect inspiration for this collaboration.

The Herkkä Eldfamn top is made of a lyocell and viscose blend, and it has a relaxed, straight fit. The top features the Blombom pattern, an O-neck with a concealed zipper in the back seam, and short kimono sleeves. The hem has a curved cut.

The Petran Eldfamn t-shirt is made of organic cotton jersey, and it has an oversized fit. The t-shirt features the placement print Blombom pattern in the front piece, and it has an O-neck with a knitted rib trim. The elbow-length sleeves are loose.

The Keveä Blombom skirt is made of a lyocell and viscose blend with a slim, A-line fit. The skirt features the Blomblom pattern and it has a concealed zipper in the back seam. Blombom, is part of Petra Börner’s ongoing POWERFLOWER series, exudes freshness and positive energy through color and a sense of growth.

The Fluidi Blombom dress is made of a lyocell and viscose blend, and it has a relaxed, A-line fit. The dress features the Blombom pattern and it has an O-neck with a concealed zipper in the back seam, side seam pockets, and long trumpet sleeves.
