Unikko (poppy), symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.
The Paluu organic cotton twill overshirt has a relaxed, straight fit, and it is printed in the Unikko pattern. The overshirt has a pointed collar, a snap button closure, and loose sleeves that are finished with turned stitched hems. The shirt has five pockets: two chest pockets with openings at the sides near the button list, two large patch pockets at the hip with slanted side openings, and one small pocket inside the right patch pocket. The overshirt has a yoke seam in the back.

The Puoli organic cotton twill skirt has a slim, straight fit and it is printed in the Unikko pattern. The skirt has a waistband with one wide belt loop in the back, a snap button closure in the front, slanted side pockets, and patch pockets in the back.

The Papaver organic cotton twill overall has a relaxed, straight fit, and it is printed in the Unikko pattern. The overall has a pointed collar, a snap button closure, chest pockets, and side seam pockets. There is a yoke seam in the back as well as an elastic waistband and patch pockets. The cuffed sleeves have slits and snap button closures.
