Classic patterns: Melooni, Tiiliskivi and Unikko

Three Marimekko classical prints are mixed in this new drop for Spring 2024 : Melooni, Tiiliskivi, Unikko - in tones of green, white, light blue, orange.  

Fabrics, cushion covers, cushions, porcelain, kitchen textiles, bed & bath items… New for spring: a specific outdoor fabric, in fabric per meter and used in cushion covers - perfect for table cloths and cushions on the outside during spring and summer !

A large, laid-back pattern of stylized natural forms, Melooni (melon) is one of the many designs in Maija Isola’s output of the 1960s that superbly captured the spirit of the times. 

The Tiiliskivi (brick) print was designed by Marimekko’s founder Armi Ratia. The pattern reflects her belief in the simple beauty of everyday life. 

Unikko was created by Maija Isola in 1964 and has since become an international icon of print design. Marimekko founder Armi Ratia believed that it was not possible to faithfully capture the essence of real flowers in a print, which is why floral prints had previously been excluded from Marimekko collections.
