Bertjan Pot
Bertjan Pot is a designer probably best known for his Random Light (1999). The lamp began as a material experiment, the fundamental beginning of every product created by Studio Bertjan Pot. The result is usually an interior product showing a fascination for techniques, structures, patterns and colors. Most experiments begin impulsively enough with a certain curiosity about how things would work or what something would look like. From there, Bertjan takes up the challenge with manufacturers to explore the possibilities and push the boundaries a little. The Bertjan Pot studio works with manufacturers such as Arco, Established & Sons, Feld, Gelderland, Montis, Moooi and Richard Lampert.
