Combining traditional wooden mirror styling with a modern touch, the Arced mirror comes in two sizes and features a subtle recess in the frame, giving it a charming window-like appearance. The mirror is treated with a wood stain and finished with a clear matte lacquer that brings out the natural character and grain of spruce wood. Available in three colors - Light Gray, Light Green and Light Lilac, each offering a distinct and unique expression.

Rhys Cooper is an Australian designer based in Sydney, with his own studio practice established in 2016. Combining high-quality materials with an artisanal approach, his work creates a dialogue - between artistic integrity and production, user and object.Β

The characteristic shape of the arched mirror is both angular and rounded, blending my research into material extrusions with the classic shape of windows I see on my way to work in Sydney. I wanted to take a shape that would adapt to different environments and give it a subtle twist: the milled details and stained wood material are a modern interpretation of a traditional form. This gives it a sense of familiarity, while at the same time being understated and sophisticated.
