A contemporary take on the classic shelving system. Compile consists of a shelf and three heights of dividing tubes. Arrange the shelves and tubes as you please or order from the prearranged configurations.
Cecilie Manz about her design: “The inspiration for the assignment was the everyday storage situation. The design, with its logical construction, parallels to a certain degree an unpretentious Scandinavian lifestyle – one shelf represents one building unit while the length of the tube de nes the shelf height. In this simple way one can assemble practical formations that fit individual needs – COMPILE should reflect and accommodate to the life it is a part of.”
COMPILE systems can hold up to 300 kg. COMPILE shelving systems can be built as tall as wanted, as long as they are mounted to a wall using brackets (however, Muuto recommends not building COMPILE systems higher than 2,25 meters).

Process shelves are made from laser cut steel sheets, bent to form, and then coated with high quality powder coating, this coating gives the shelves a matt, abrasion-resistant and fingerprint-insensitive surface

1/ add to your cart one "Essentials" pack by shelf column. Available in black, grey and white.
Exemple: the configuration No. 1 has 1 column, and thus requires 1 "Essentials" pack, while the configuration No.5 includes 2 columns, and therefore 2 "Essentials" packs
2/ add the number of shelves your want. Available in black, grey and white.
3/ add the number of dividers needed. They are sold by packs of 4 of the same size. Three heights are available, in black, grey and white.
Exemple: Configuration No. 1 has 2 shelves, and requires 1 set of 4 dividers.

Material

Cecilie Manz
Born 1972, lives and works in Copenhagen. After graduation from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - The School of Design in 1997 with additional studies at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, Cecilie Manz founded her own studio in Copenhagen in 1998. Here, Cecilie Manz designs furniture, glass, lamps and related products, mainly for the home. In addition to her work with industrial products, her experimental prototypes and more sculptural one-offs make up an important part of her work and approach: “I view all my works as fragments of one big, ongoing story where the projects are often linked or related in terms of their idea, materials and aesthetics, across time and function.
Some objects remain experiments or sculpted ideas, others are made more concrete and turn into functional tools. Recipient of the Thorvald Bindesbøll Medal 2011, the Bruno Mathsson Prize 2009, Kunstpreis Berlin 2008, the Finn Juhl Architectural Prize 2007, The Furniture Prize 2007, the Three-Year Working Grant from the Danish Arts Foundation and several other grants. Works with Fritz Hansen, B&O, Fredericia Furniture, Nils Holger Moormann, Lightyears, Holmegaard, Muuto, Georg Jensen Damask, Böwer, Kähler and others.
