The Cover Chair is the first item in a collection designed by Thomas Benzen in 2013, which has since been enriched with a stackable version with short armrests β the Cover Side Chair β and a lounge chair.Β
With the Cover series, Thomas Bentzen gave a contemporary version to the classic wooden chair by exploiting both the possibilities opened up by technical progress and traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship.
The Cover armchair is made in wood with a water-based lacquer, the curved back and seat are in veneer and its base and legs in solid oak. This technically innovative wood layering helps lock the elements of the chair together. Available with textile and leather upholstery as options.
Materials Oak, natural and dark-stained version : form pressed oak veneer shell + frame in solid oak β Colored version: seat and backrest in form pressed ash veneer + base and legs in solid beech.
