The Rest sofa combines deep comfort with modern lines and an inherently soft seat. Referring to Scandinavian design ideas, the Rest sofa features subtle details thanks to its small folds, combined with its welcoming shape.
Muuto's Rest sofa is an iconic piece of Scandinavian design, conceived by Norwegian design duo Anderssen & Voll. It perfectly embodies the aesthetics and values of Muuto, a Danish brand whose name, inspired by the Finnish word “muutos” (“new perspective”), reflects an innovative and contemporary approach to design.
Materials Structure in plywood and high-density fiberboard, zigzag springs. Standard and high-resilience polyurethane foam, powder-coated steel.

A long-standing studio: Andersson & Voll's studio is located in the heart of Oslo, in one of the region's oldest buildings dating back to 1802. It lies next to the beautiful Akerselva River, an area that is home to several design studios and art schools.
