The Set lamp offers a singular blend of industrial and sculptural design. The rising luminous flux is reflected in the aluminum shade, screwed onto the body, which diffuses a powerful yet indirect light.

The intensity and direction of the light vary according to the adjustable height of the shade. The Set lamp can be placed on a table, window sill or on the floor.

Jamie Wolfond: “A common misconception is that making something new requires new materials, new technologies or new production processes.

In fact, the most interesting ideas come from taking a slightly different look at something very familiar. For this project, I chose to explore the screw pitch as a modulation tool.

By adjusting the distance between the reflector and the light source, not only is the light attenuated, but its radius of action is also modified.

The result is a lamp capable of intuitively switching from lighting small areas to lighting large ones.”
