Tapis Do-Lo-Rez Ron Arad

"Do Low Resolution". A low-resolution pixel image reflected in a three-dimensional surface. A tandem of volumes and levels.

Created by Ron Arad, Do-Lo-Rez is originally the union of two pieces: a rug and a sofa, brought together to become one. Created together, they form an unusual project that brings the virtual world closer to the real world.

The idea came to him after seeing a low-resolution pixelated image. The carpet is made by giving each square a different height from those next to it.

Moreover, its original format gives the impression of an unfinished puzzle. This play on volume and levels gives free rein to personalization.
