TRES PERSIAN Poufs rose from the fusion between two iconic collections : Tres and Persian Colors. Tres Persian is very special pouf, a lightweight cylindrical accessory, manageable and adaptable to any space, presented in two models: black and vegetal. The sides of the poufs are made Tres black and vegetal rugs and the seat are made with Persian Colors re-edited in black and a natural colour.
The combination Tres + Persian Colors impact the senses in a very unique way. The Persian seat is very soft and comfortable, and the Tres body is enormously contemporary. The seat fibre is very pleasant to the touch due to its softness, which means that when you rest your feet on it you really feel you are touching a soft rug, providing a feeling of comfort and wellbeing.
Both Tres and Persian Colors collections reflect nanimarquina’s passion for craftsmanship. Through both collections, and now also with the new Tres Persian Pouf, an optimistic call is made to see beauty in details and respect tradition.

Nani Marquina, Begüm Cana Özgür & Marcos Catalán
True to her design roots, Nani Marquina launched her namesake brand in 1987, a time in which contemporary rugs were non-existent in Spain.
After studying industrial design at the Escuela Massana of Barcelona and enjoying the success of her first bespoke textile designs, Nani launched nanimarquina, a brand dedicated to the design, creation, and distribution of rugs and textile products for the home, based on values such as observation, innovation, and enthusiasm, with the goal to use traditional craftsmanship and techniques to create contemporary pieces.
In 1993, Nani Marquina embarked on a daring business venture: she moved manufacturing facilities to the north of India. The further incorporation of craftsmanship and tradition as a new design concept marked a clear difference, consolidating the brand.
Throughout the years, the brand has garnered numerous awards such as the National Design Award and the Premi Cambra a la Gestió Empresarial (Chamber Award for Design Management) in 2005, as well as several nominations for the Príncipe Felipe Award for Company Excellence. Nani Marquina has also recently received the International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge Award from the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, a personal achievement that led to the 2007 FIDEM Award for Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year. She has enjoyed tenure as the Chairwoman of ADP (Professional Design Association), and of Red (Reunión Empresas de Diseño). Starting in 2014, Nani Marquina is the President of the FAD, (Foment de les Arts i Disseny), in Barcelona.
Born in 1989, Turkish designer Begüm Cana Özgür received her master’s degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art, US. In 2014, she opened her studio, based in Istanbul, where the cultural richness of the land has been the major motive in her work, developing an interest in ancient craft practices.
Begüm Cana Özgür’s work integrates design, art, and crafts. Starting from the initial ideation, her design process is carried out hands on. She plays with common materials and existing techniques to fully understand their potential in order to develop new contemporary expressions. The experimental process results in the development and adaptation of skills, suggesting new ways of doing, which enable design ideas to inhabit a truly authentic form of body in her work.
Marcos Catalán graduated in Design from Elisava School (Barcelona) in 1997. He collaborated with different architectural firms until he founded “Marcos Catalán, Studio” in 2006, developing integral projects of architecture, interior design, and product design. His studio practices a rigorous and rational method of work, with the aim of improving the quality and experience of the places in which it intervenes.
