The Florii collection, a tribute to autumn leaves, includes two wall lights and a horizontal pendant. Â
On a beautiful autumn day, artist and designer Jessica Vedel took a walk in the forest, watching the sunlight dance through the foliage, and had a vision: a series of lamps that embody the beauty of nature.Â
Florii is a collection of three lamps inspired by the graceful descent of leaves from their branches, their character and expression changing with the light. A harmonious union of organic aesthetics and modern design sensibility, each lamp radiates a soothing elegance that blends perfectly with any interior space.
Jessica Vedel's design process for the Florii collection was meticulous and artistic, as with most of her previous bespoke creations. First, the lamps were hand-drawn and folded in paper to achieve the desired expression before being fashioned in powder-coated metal with opal glass diffusing the light source.Â
Florii lamps emerge with a natural grace, creating a captivating, artistic expression that draws the eye to their soft, organic forms. Complementing the design, a linear metal stem in dark bronze finish brings a sense of structure and contrast, adding depth while holding the shades in place.
Integrated LED technology provides efficient, long-lasting lighting that can be easily replaced without tools. The dimmable light source, subtly diffused by opal glass, offers adaptable, customizable lighting to suit any mood or environment.Â
The Florii 1 wall and ceiling light add a touch of sophistication to corridors, creating a captivating interplay of light and shadow. The Florii 3 sconce lends itself beautifully to bathrooms, framing mirrors with its long, luminous presence, while the Florii 5 linear pendant is ideal for illuminating dining tables or kitchen islands, casting a warm, inviting light over shared meals.
