Verner Panton
Verner Panton (1926-1998) was an inspiring and colourful personality. A unique person with an innate sense of colour, form, light and space.
Verner Panton studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before working for Arne Jacobsen's architectural office. He established his own design studio in 1955.
During his career, Verner Panton created a series of modern lamps and furniture that were unlike any of his Scandinavian contemporaries. Driven by an unshakeable belief in the unlimited possibilities of form, he succeeded in creating a new set of theories about how lighting and furniture should function and influence their surroundings.
