Norwegian designer Ole Petter Wullum's Fold armchair is a comfortable seat with a bold design that evokes a simple piece of cut and folded paper.
Fold combines minimalist geometric lines with an assertive character. Reduced to the essentials, with straight and folded corners, the chair's concept offers a new perspective on modern seating.
Fold's silhouette is composed of five lines forming several angles, naturally integrating a sloping backrest and armrests that flex slightly under the weight of the body, ensuring optimum comfort.
According to Wullum, “the careful inclination of the backrest and armrests allows the chair to open up, warmly welcoming the sitter”.
Fold's materiality preserves the visual quality of the paper folding that inspired its design. Its refined geometric lines are accompanied by a fully upholstered seat, combining formalism and relaxation.
