Discover the Normann Copenhagen vases, with three different collections and shapes, Step, Tide and Tombola. These vases are not completely circular, the nature of each vase is constantly changing, depending on the angle of view.
The shapes of the Step vases have been build up– step by step – from horizontal layers, which come together to give the vases their gorgeous surface texture and dazzling appearance. Soft and flowing silhouettes provide contrast to the pattern's straight lines, creating balance in the design.

Tombola is a game of chance. A pool of tickets is mixed together, after which an arbitrary set of tickets is pulled out at random. The Tombola vase came to life in much the same way. Building blocks based on eight abstract shapes were combined in a random order to produce the glass vase's unique surface structure.

Büro Famos, Hans Hornemann & Mendel Heit
Over the past 10 years, designer Mendel Heit has been exploring a broad variety of design fields; from interior architecture to industrial design. He has worked on commercial projects while engaging in research and teaching.
The young Danish designer Hans Hornemann graduated as a Master of Engineering in Industrial Design from the University of Aalborg 2014. Hans Hornemann emphasizes the combination of aesthetic simplicity and high functionality in expressive and light-hearted design. He is fascinated by the industrial and technical solutions in design in terms of both material and mode of expression. Natural materials often inspire him, and he endeavors to strip the design to its bone and portray the honesty found in the materials.Â
Büro Famos is a partnership between the designers Hanna Litwin and Romin Heide.
Hanna and Romin met at the University of Applied Sciences in Coburg, Germany, where they both studied Integrated Product design. After their studies, they went separate ways, working with design and art direction for various design studios. In 2012, Hanna and Romin decided to establish their own studio, focusing on the intersections between graphic and product design.Â
