Bjørn Wiinblad (20 September 1919 – 8 June 2006), was a Danish painter, designer and artist in ceramics, silver, bronze, textiles, and graphics. 

His work has been shown widely in Europe, in the United States of America first in 1954 and in Japan, Australia and Canada in 1968. 

Wiinblad was named Man of the Year in New York in 1985 and was awarded the American-Scandinavian Foundation’s Cultural Prize of 1995.

With her cheerful smile, blushing cheeks and colorful decorations, Eva embodies the essence of Bjørn Wiinblad as a person and as an artist - whether in the form of a vase, candleholder or flowerpot. 

Cheerful and dreamy, she brings life and personality to interiors with her poetic expression and vibrant colors. Eva is a reinterpretation of Wiinblad's original vase with its smiling female face, which he himself called Eva. The series is produced in mirror-glazed porcelain with colorful motifs and floral reliefs.
