Lisa Larson
Larson was born in 1931 in the Härlunda district of Älmhult, the birthplace of IKEA. She studied at the Gothenburg School of Craft and Design between 1949 and 1954.
Larson is known for her ceramic works depicting animals and figures. After completing her studies, she entered a Scandinavian art competition, where she was approached by Stig Lindberg, who offered her a one-year trial position at the Gustavsberg porcelain factory. Larson finally left Gustavsberg in 1980 to work freelance for several Swedish companies, including Duka, Kooperativa Förbundet and Åhléns.
Larson died on March 11, 2024, at the age of 92.
