Instead of trying to hide the cord, designer group Form Us With Love made it the main element. A minimalist combination of a classic textile cord reinforced by a concealed steel tube, a dimmer and a large bulb, the whole forming an iconic piece of design.

Form us with love
Form Us With Love is a multidisciplinary interior architecture and design studio founded in Stockholm in 2005. Born of the collaboration between John Löfgren, Jonas Pettersson and Petrus Plamér, who met at university, Form Us With Love quickly grew to achieve worldwide renown.
Form Us With Love works with companies involved in the development and production of everyday objects, furniture and lighting. Their customers include Scandinavian and international brands such as Ateljé Lyktan, Bolon, Cappellini, DePadova, Muuto, Design House Stockholm and One Nordic Furniture Company. In 2012, Form Us With Love was named by Fast Company as one of the 50 most influential and promising designers.
Form Us With Love's work has won several prestigious awards such as the Red Dot and Young Swedish Design Awards, as well as the title of "Designer of the Year" by Elle Decoration Sweden in 2013. Some of their creations have also been shown at MoMA and the Swedish National Gallery.
