Axel Bjurström's Lasso mirror collection reduces all the elements of a wall mirror to the essential, assembled in a unified, functional design. The mirror is attached with a cord that is threaded through two inserts on a metal plate on the back, then secured to the knob with a special device. Three spacers keep the mirror flush with the wall.

Axel Bjurström
Axel Bjurström takes a keen interest in everyday objects. Can they be improved, modified and made desirable again? Whether it's a mirror with a lasso or a flat-screen TV on an easel, Axel is always looking for a hidden feature to bring out, with the aim of bringing a new voice to materials and functionality. His interest in design began while working as a project manager for the fashion company Filippa K. Since graduating from the University of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2007, Axel Bjurström has worked on interior architecture and all types of product design, A strong contemporary trend is to make the office feel like home I really don't think the dichotomy between work and home is very relevant anymore" Axel Bjurström has twice received the Elle Decoration Swedish Design Award, first as Newcomer of the Year in 2012, then as Best Chair in 2015.
