Both a console and a table, the B 109 folding table was designed at a time when living spaces were much smaller than they are today. When folded, the table is 45 cm deep and serves as a wall console. When the need arises, the top can be unfolded, turned through 90° and locked in place to create a 90 x 90 cm table.

The B 109 is one of the tubular steel classics of the 1920s and 1930s, created by Thonet in the wake of designs by Marcel Breuer, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Mart Stam.
