Working on this piece of furniture inspired by Thonet's collection of classic tubular steel furniture is a real pleasure. Designed by the Thonet design team, the elegant S 1200 desk is available in several variants and with optional accessories, making it a highly individual work tool. Its main advantage lies in its compact dimensions, which allow it to fit into even the tightest of spaces. The S 1200 desk is based on a well-thought-out tubular steel structure, with angled legs that make it easy to stand up, even in the narrowest corridors and recesses. The footrest ensures a relaxed sitting position. Additional accessories in flocked metal facilitate storage on and in the desk: pencil holder S 1211, storage tray S 1212 for A4 documents, desk as multifunctional support S 1213, cable ducts S 1214.

Randolf Schott
Randolf Schott, born in 1974 in Torgau, trained as a cabinetmaker and studied product design from 2000 to 2004 at the Angewandte Kunst Schneeberg (department of the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau). He then worked as an assistant in the Delphin Design office. From 2006 to 2017, he worked as a designer and project manager in the Thonet product development unit.
