These terms and conditions apply to all users of www.scandinavia-design.fr. 

Scandinavia design reserves the right to modify them, and it is the customer's responsibility to keep informed of such modifications.

Payment in 4 free instalments is available for customers paying with Paypal between 30 and 2000€.

Payment in 3 or 4 instalments without charge is available between 30 and 3000€ via Alma, subject to acceptance by the Customer of the GCU or the credit agreement proposed by Alma. 

If Alma refuses to grant credit for an order, the order may be cancelled. Any termination of the GCS between the Customer and the Seller shall result in the termination of the GCS or the credit agreement between Alma and the Customer. Alma is a tele-payment manager and issues an electronic certificate as proof of the amount and date of the transaction in accordance with the provisions of articles 1316 et seq. of the French Civil Code. Payment security is ensured by Alma and its service providers. All payments are protected by 3D Secure.

We compare our prices daily with all authorized retailers in Europe. If you find a lower price, please contact us for a counter-offer. 

We must be able to verify that the item is genuine, new, perfectly identical (size, materials, color, etc.) and not part of a campaign or temporary clearance. 

The valid basis is, for example, a current quotation or a direct link to another retailer's website where the lower price is shown. An e-mail image is not valid; the original e-mail must be forwarded. 

The offer does not apply to orders already placed and cannot be combined with any of our other offers or promotions.

For orders over €150

Scandinavia design offers free shipping within the European Community. This offer is only valid for standard deliveries (letterbox or foot of building for bulky products). 

For premium deliveries (2 deliverymen taking products upstairs), a contribution to delivery costs is required (please contact us). 

Furniture assembly service available on request (approx. €60 for 30 minutes' work).


For orders under €150

Delivery charges in France are 

- 5.90€ for delivery to a “point relais

- 6.90€ for home delivery

- 12€ for other EU countries

- 29€ for the rest of the world


Additional charges

Please note that for certain particularly bulky products, especially for deliveries outside France, we may be required to charge an additional shipping fee. 

The same applies to certain island addresses. 

If you are not satisfied with this charge, simply request cancellation of the order, which will be reimbursed within two working days.

Orders placed outside the European Community are exempt from VAT. Any customs duties are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact customs for further information.

All products are sent with insurance. If the delivery note is signed by the customer without any reservations being noted, then the product is considered to have been delivered in good condition, thus releasing Scandinavia design and the carrier from liability. 

It is therefore important to examine the contents of the package to ensure that the product is in good condition. 

If the product is damaged, it is important to describe the damage precisely on the delivery note (simply stating that the packaging is damaged is not sufficient). 

If the delivery person refuses to allow time to examine the contents, the customer should note on the delivery note that the delivery person did not allow time to check the contents of the package, despite the damaged packaging. 

Scandinavia design cannot accept responsibility for any damage if no reservations are made about the product.

Visible manufacturing defects must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

The customer has 14 days after delivery to cancel an order and request a refund. Please inform us before returning the goods. The item must be returned in perfect condition, in its original packaging, with all brand logos legible, otherwise Scandinavia design will not be able to refund the order. 

Please note that return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. We don't want to encourage absurd return shipments, with their attendant breakages and conflicts. On the other hand, we do refund quickly: often the same day, within a maximum of two weeks.

Please note that products made to order (a large proportion of our furniture range: if in doubt, please ask us before ordering) or modified to order (such as cut fabric) cannot be cancelled or exchanged. Please note that an armchair or sofa customized with fabric or leather is always considered a made-to-order product, even when it is indicated that it is “pre-composed” and/or in stock and/or part of a fast-track delivery program.

In the event of a product exchange, the customer is responsible for the cost of reshipment and any customs clearance.

UPS and Colissimo shipments can be tracked by means of a tracking number. Shipments by carrier (large parcels) are subject to prior appointment with the carrier.
