Scandinavia Design offers Scandinavian sofas of all types for every room in the house, from small 2 or 3-seater sofas to large modular sofas that can be infinitely extended, from Danish banquettes with a vintage look to corner sofas with a contemporary Nordic aesthetic, from luxurious leather and wood sofas to Scandinavian convertible sofas for an office, pied-à-terre or student apartment.
There are two ways to explore our range of Scandinavian sofas:
- by sofa brand: we work with all the major Scandinavian sofa manufacturers, whether historic (Carl Hansen, Fritz Hansen, Gubi, Fredericia, Artek, Vitra, FDB Møbler, House of Finn Juhl...) or contemporary (Hay, Muuto, &Tradition, Ferm Living, Wendelbo, Audo Copenhagen, Normann Copenhagen, Softline, Karakter, Fogia, Moooi...).
- by sofa type: modular sofas, fixed-length 2-, 3- and 4-seater sofas, and finally convertible sofas, sofa beds and daybeds.
Modular sofas are particularly well-suited to homes that are difficult to access: a module is always easier to get through a narrow doorway or corridor, or up a staircase, than a complete sofa. What's more, they can easily be made to evolve, grow or shrink over time, by adding or subtracting modules to adapt to changing needs and moves. Finally, in the event of a domestic accident, stain or snag, you only need to change one module, not the whole sofa.
Fixed-length sofas are not subject to the same technical constraints as modular sofas, and designers' creativity is much freer. Aesthetics and design can be prioritized, and this category brings together the most beautiful and original pieces. Most are available in 2- and 3-seat versions, often complemented by a matching armchair, pouffe or ottoman.
As for convertible sofas, sofa beds and daybeds, those on the market are often heavy and ugly. Fortunately, Scandinavian design offers practical, beautifully designed options that reconcile function and aesthetics.
