Thorvald is a collection of outdoor furniture designed by Space Copenhagen for &Tradition as a tribute to Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844), Copenhagen's famous neoclassical sculptor.
The collection is inspired by the steel seats in the Thorvaldsen Museum, built in 1848 next to Christiansborg Palace in the Danish capital. The result is modern, elegant designer furniture that reflects the romantic aesthetics of the Nordic 19th century.
