CARL HANSEN & SØN MT221 TULIP PENDANT MARIANNE TUXEN

The Pompeii room, for which the suspension was originally designed, is inspired by ancient Italy, with its winter garden, glass ceilings and pillared courtyard.

With its discreet design, the Tulip suspension blends perfectly into its sumptuous surroundings, adding a touch of modernity and simplicity thanks to an opal-white glass shade that imitates the characteristic petals of a tulip.

The three-layered, mouth-blown glass shade provides uniform, glare-free light, while the small opening at the bottom allows downward illumination.

The precise pendant in solid brass is designed to blend into the lampshade and form a perfect organic whole. The suspension looks stunning on its own or in a group, and can be used in both private and public environments.

The Tulip pendant is available in two formats.

Knud Erik Hansen, CEO and third-generation owner of Carl Hansen & Søn, states:

“With the Tulip pendant, Marianne Tuxen has created a discreet luminaire that, thanks to its refined details and exquisite materials, illuminates any room in the most beautiful way, without stealing the show. The suspension is manufactured in our factory in southern Jutland, where local craftsmanship and unrivalled technical expertise translate into products that will bring joy for many years to come.”
