Drawer unit 26 x D35 x H8 cm
Possible finishes oiled oak, bleached oiled oak, varnished oak, black laminate
The AB019 wall desk is inspired by designer Anker Bak's experience of tiny living and his many visits to Japan.
Reduced to the essentials, the desk consists of a slim top in oak or laminate and stainless steel wall brackets.
The design adopts a minimalist aesthetic, highlighting details that are both beautiful and functional, such as the rounded edge of the tray that softens the design while serving as a comfortable armrest.
An optional solid oak wall-mounted desk drawer reflects the desk's organic, tactile design. It can be placed under the tabletop or above it, and serves as a laptop holder.
On the occasion of the launch, Knud Erik Hansen, CEO and owner-manager of Carl Hansen & Søn for three generations, said:
“Anker Bak continues an exciting journey developing significant design, which has already earned him accolades such as the Wegner 2023 award and a “Designer of the Year” award in 2024.
We are therefore delighted to be collaborating with him on this wall desk - its practical design, aesthetics and quality fit perfectly with Carl Hansen & Søn's classic furniture collection”.
