Ferm Living's creative hub is located in Copenhagen, the Danish capital.

This is where designers meet artisans from around the world, combining their Scandinavian spirit with international skills and traditions.

Ferm Living collections are characterized by often organic shapes, rich textures and unique details that add personality to simplicity. This concern runs through all Ferm Living products, whether furniture, lighting or decorative accessories.

Very Scandinavian in spirit, Ferm Living promotes an ideal made of simplicity and attention to things, where happiness is rooted in a tender relationship with the present time and the details that make up our daily environment.

If Ferm Living tries to make our home welcoming, it is first of all so that our personality benefits from a framework favorable to its development: it is not about impressing the visitor, but about pampering the inhabitant - the famous Danish "hygge". This conviction that design benefits intimate life intersects with a very Scandinavian concern for respect for the environment and social responsibility. Ferm Living products must be sustainable, as polluting as possible in their manufacturing process, designed in an honest manner.

Trine Andersen, founder and artistic director of Ferm Living:

“In 2005, I had just moved into a house with my husband and couldn't find any wallpaper to our taste. So I decided to make my own, which resulted in ten different wallpaper designs. I applied to exhibit them at a trade show in Denmark, but I didn't have the money to make all ten designs, so with just one wallpaper and a handful of prints, Ferm Living was born.

Over the past 14 years, Ferm Living has grown into something I never imagined. It's as if we'd built a house, and that house has become a home, with many talented employees and an excellent product portfolio that we continue to develop together.

But the most important thing for me is that Ferm Living reflects a set of values we can be proud of. Our greatest ambition is, and always has been, to inspire people to create the kind of space that allows them to feel comfortable and be themselves in their own homes. A home, after all, is much more than a collection of beautiful objects - it's the place where life happens.

We will continue to offer inspiring, quality designs in honest materials, to care for our home by investing in its maintenance - fostering long-term partnerships with our manufacturers and a corporate culture that promotes balance and transparency - and more than ever, to continue and advance our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices that are respectful of our planet.
