Atmosfera Dining table – 6 people - Gubi

The Atmosfera table, designed by the Gubi design studio and published by this Danish company, is a contemporary piece designed to enhance outdoor spaces with understated elegance. Part of the Atmosfera collection, it reflects Gubi's meticulous attention to detail and minimalist aesthetic. Made from solid teak, it combines durability and natural beauty, offering a refined ambience for alfresco dining.

Design and features

The Atmosfera table features a sleek design, with a solid teak rhythmic slat top surrounded by a matching frame, emphasizing its minimalist look. Available in two sizes - 209 x 105 cm (6 people) and 281 x 105 cm (8 people) - it rests on inverted “L”-shaped legs formed by two mitered vertical slats, evoking architectural and maritime influences.

These legs, protruding slightly beyond the tabletop with a rounded detail, soften the geometric lines and add a touch of serenity. Weather-resistant teak develops a silvery patina or retains its honey-gold colour with oil maintenance.

Context and heritage

Designed by Gubi's Milan studio, the Atmosfera table is the latest addition to the brand's outdoor collection, recently launched to offer “transterieur” furniture for indoor and outdoor use.

Unlike Gubi's historic reissues, this is an original creation with a contemporary design. Inspired by Scandinavian design - simplicity and natural materials - it adopts a universal aesthetic suitable for a variety of settings, from Mediterranean gardens to Nordic terraces.

A Gubi creation

Although original, the Atmosfera dining table is produced with Gubi's emblematic craftsmanship. Made from SVLK-certified teak for sustainable management, it is delivered in kit form for eco-friendly transport, without metal or superfluous coverings. Polished and burnished teak highlights its natural oils, guaranteeing durability against the elements. Combined with chairs such as the Tropique or the Beetle outdoor, it embodies Gubi's timeless elegance and ecological commitment.
