The Atmosfera coffee table, designed and edited by Gubi's design studio, is a contemporary piece conceived to sublimate outdoor spaces while offering discreet elegance. Part of the Atmosfera collection, it embodies the meticulous attention to detail and minimalist aesthetic that define Gubi's approach. Made from solid teak, this coffee table combines durability and natural beauty, creating a unique ambience for moments of outdoor relaxation.

Design and features

The Atmosfera coffee table stands out for its clean, functional design, marked by a top composed of rhythmic solid teak slats, surrounded by a matching frame that reinforces its minimalist look. Its dimensions - 113 cm long, 100 cm wide and 35.5 cm high - make it an ideal accompaniment to garden furniture or an outdoor lounge area. The legs, formed of two vertical slats joined in a mitered joint, create an inverted “L” shape at each corner, a subtle reference to architectural and maritime designs.

These legs project slightly above the tabletop, finished with a rounded detail that softens the geometric lines of the structure, adding a touch of calm and refinement. Teak, the table's unique material, is chosen for its natural resistance to weathering, offering a silvery patina over time or retaining its honey-gold hue with annual oil maintenance.

Context and heritage

Recently launched, the Atmosfera coffee table is part of Gubi's desire to offer “transterieur” furniture, capable of moving easily from indoors to outdoors. Unlike the re-editions of historical classics for which Gubi is famous, the Atmosfera collection is an original creation reflecting a contemporary sensibility.

Inspired by classic references and timeless simplicity, it draws on the heritage of Scandinavian design - functionality and natural materials - while embracing a universal aesthetic that adapts to diverse environments, from Mediterranean gardens to Nordic terraces.

Although it's an original creation and not a re-edition in the classic sense, the Atmosfera coffee table is produced by Gubi with the same artisanal care as its iconic re-editions. Made from SVLK-certified plantation-grown teak, guaranteeing sustainable resource management, it is designed to be eco-friendly: delivered in kit form for eco-efficient transport and free of metal or superfluous coatings. Polished and burnished teak highlights its natural oils, ensuring exceptional durability against the elements.
