Designed to offer the ultimate relaxation experience, this collection is the Danish brand's first modular sofa range, launched in 2020.

Concept and inspiration

The name “Catena” is inspired by the catenary curve, a “U” shape taken by a chain or cable suspended by its ends. This reference is reflected in the soft lines, organic curves and stitched seams that define the sofa's aesthetic. Ferm Living describes Catena as an invitation to “low living”, a concept that favors relaxation and simplicity, with a low, enveloping silhouette inspired by poufs or bean bag chairs, but revisited in a sophisticated, structured version.
The aim of the collection is to create a “haven of peace” in a hectic world, combining maximum comfort, durability and personalization. It is aimed at those seeking a piece of furniture that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, capable of adapting to different spaces and needs.

        ◦    Cotton Linen (mélange coton-lin) : 60 % coton, 40 % lin, pour une texture naturelle et douce.

        ◦    Wool Bouclé : 70-80 % laine avec des fibres synthétiques, offrant un effet bouclé texturé et chaleureux.

        ◦    Hot Madison : Tissu en coton recyclé et fibres synthétiques, avec un effet flammé organique.

        ◦    Confetti Bouclé : Mélange de laine et fibres pour une finition moderne et tactile.

    •    Modularité : La collection se compose de six modules individuels qui peuvent être combinés de multiples façons pour créer des configurations personnalisées :

        ◦    L401 (Armrest Right) : Module avec accoudoir droit (mêmes dimensions).

        ◦    L100 (Centre) : Module central sans accoudoirs (L 108 x P 108 x H 76 cm).

        ◦    L300 (Open End Left) : Extrémité ouverte à gauche (L 170 x P 108 x H 76 cm).

        ◦    L301 (Open End Right) : Extrémité ouverte à droite (mêmes dimensions).

        ◦    L200 (Connect Corner) : Module d’angle pour relier les sections (L 108 x P 108 x H 76 cm).

    •    Profondeurs : Disponible en deux profondeurs d’assise : 70 cm (P totale 95 cm) ou 83 cm (P totale 108 cm), pour convenir à différents niveaux de confort.

    •    Hauteur d’assise : 42 cm, basse pour une posture détendue.

    •    Déhoussable : Depuis son évolution, Catena propose des housses amovibles, facilitant l’entretien et le remplacement.

Couleurs

Une palette variée, allant des tons neutres aux teintes plus audacieuses :

Catena is fully modular, allowing you to create :

Each module can be purchased separately or assembled into predefined sets, such as the “Catena Sofa Large” or the “Catena Open End”.

Produced in Italy, Catena benefits from recognized craftsmanship in upholstered furniture. Each piece is made to order, which explains delivery times of around 6 to 8 weeks.
