Inspired by the life and philosophy of Jørn Utzon, the Ferm Living × Utzon - Can Lis collection pays tribute to an architect whose work transcended conventional boundaries, exploring the relationship between architecture and place.
In collaboration with the Utzon Centre, a cultural institution dedicated to preserving Utzon's legacy, the collection highlights a shared vision of transforming architectural principles into contemporary design.

Jørn Utzon
Creating things for people. This is the main theme of probably Denmark's most famous architect: Jørn Utzon. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1942, then developed his talent in studios such as Alvar Aalto's in Helsinki. This inspiration helped Jørn Utzon gradually optimize his talent for creating organic, architectural space while maintaining respect for people, nature and his environment.
Jørn Utzon has clearly drawn a parallel between music and light. Both are crucial to feeling emotions. In developing his designs for Lightyears, he has ensured that light constantly lifts the atmosphere of a room, whether used to create a warm ambience, for a particular function or to inspire ideas. The design of his first lamp for Lightyears is an ode to the Sydney Opera House. It is through his designs that Jørn Utzon's portrait is completed as a lamp designer and architect of the highest international stature.
